Program Description – Grassroots Chinooks – U4

A fun skills and games based introduction to playing soccer for 3 year old’s or born in 2015.  This Grassroots Play and Train program will allow young children to begin to cultivate a passion for the game, while developing an understanding of fair play, rules and applying themselves on the ball.  Each program day consists of 8 sessions a season. We attempt to maintain a Participant Ratio of 6 players to 1 trainer at this age, and as such we may limit registrations until we achieve registration targets or put some registrations on a wait list until a registration number is achieved.  Preliminary class size is limited to 15 participants on each day. You may add additional days (with a discount) to customize your program to have 1 or 2 days a week. If you want to attend twice a week, register for both nights and we will add the second night for $35.

Program – Grassroots Chinooks – U5 and U6

A fun skills and games based introduction to playing soccer for 4 & 5 year old's or born in 2013 or 2014.  This Grassroots Play and Train program will allow young children to begin to cultivate a passion for the game, while developing an understanding of fair play, rules and applying themselves on the ball.  Small-sided games are introduced, and physical literacy is further developed.  Each program day consists of 16 sessions. We attempt to maintain a Participant Ratio of 8 players to 1 trainer, and as such we may limit registrations until we achieve registration targets or put some registrations on a wait list until a registration number is achieved. Players at this age may start to identify an interest to develop further, and Chinooks offer a free option to try out our competitive academy through a 'transition to competitive' option - players can join in on up to 4 of our regular academy sessions on Friday nights at SAIT for no extra cost.
