Chinooks United 08 Boys U16’s are the 2023/2024 Indoor Season champions!

It proved to be a hard fought and exciting campaign in a highly competitive league. The Team have also been crowned 2023-24 Challenge Cup Champions and will be representing CMSA at ASA Provincial competition.

“When I took over the lads it was clear there was huge potential. My task was to develop a program that would deliver that potential.Over the 3 seasons I have coached this wonderful group of players, we have implemented a consistent Game Model and Game Plan with clearly defined success metrics for each of the 4 moments of the game.We were not focussed on the scoreboard and stuck rigidly to a process of performance assessment and improvement, both as individual players and as a team. The benefits of this approach have come to fruition this season. The growth and development of the players and the team has been hugely impressive and the support from the parents on our journey and in applying our approach has been a significant factor in our success. We are now ready to move to the next level and I am already planning for our outdoor season and working with Chinooks to add further intensity, improvements and new angles to our program of player growth and development.”
